Moisture-Fix 1 & 2
Moisture fix is a fool proof system for the sealing of concrete slabs to prevent moisture from effecting your new timber floor. Moisture fix is simply applied by spreading out the mixture evenly with a standard broom. In just hour Moisture Fix can be walked on, in 24 hours you can begin to lay your floor-coverings. One of the great things about Moisture fix unlike other slab sealers, is that it cannot be damaged or compromised once applied and set. Moisture fix is available in 2 different easy to use and cost effective types:

MOISTURE-FIX 2
Moisture Barrier for Batten Fixed & Floating Timber floors, loose laid carpet & vinyl and for carpet tiles fixed with pressure sensitive adhesive
Moisture-Fix 2 is used when flooring, in particular Timber, is not glued to the subfloor. Shoot as many nails or charges into this Moisture-Fix 2 as you like, you will not compromise its effect or function. Moisture-Fix 2 creates a barrier not just thinly on the surface of the subfloor but deeply, thick, complete and permanent. Moisture-Fix 2 has a top as well as the normal internal barrier to give extra protection with moisture sensitive timber products. Moisture-Fix 2 has inbuilt Anti-Microbial protection ensuring your client a clean, hygienic, mould and odour free subfloor. Moisture-Fix 2 is as easy to apply as Moisture-Fix 1. Sika Primer Mb
Sika Primer MB is a 2 part solvent free moisture barrier. It can be applied with
either a brush or a roller and provides a very strong and reliable moisture barrier. Sika Primer MB is compatible with the very popular range of Leveling compounds, Sika Level 25 and Sika T-55J the timber flooring adhesive. Application is easy with a simple A+B mixture. Make moisture problems a thing of the past with Sika Primer MB. Available in 16kg kits and the smaller 4kg kits.
Selleys VBS
Selleys VBS is also a 2 part single coating system. VBS or Vabour Barrier as the name suggest prevents moisture from passing through the slab into your new timber flooring. VBS, made by selleys is available in 12kg Kits doing approximately 20m2 each. Selleys VBS is compatable with Selleys Direct stick adhesive and is one of the best products on the market. Selleys comes as a kit in a easy to mix formula and can either be rolled or brushed out. Flooring can then be adhered to moisture barrier after 8 - 12 hours depending on conditions.
