I am residing in Victoria and had been searching for reliable information on what wooden floors could be laid on a heated concrete slab. I found comments and advice made by Marques Flooring on various home renovation websites and decided to address this company directly with my own queries.
Having had my time wasted by other companies who were out to sell me a product regardless of whether it was the right one for my purposes or not, it was great to finally deal with someone who provided good advice from real experience.
Even though we ordered our floor from a Queensland company it was delivered to our home in Melbourne directly from a Victorian warehouse at a lower price than that given by all Victorian retailers. Josh from Marques Flooring was a pleasure to deal with, patiently answered all our questions and professionally followed up with a telephone call to ensure delivery had taken place as scheduled.

We had been to three other retailers before hearing about you from a family friend. whilst we knew we wanted timber flooring we were totally comfused by your competition that didn’t seem to know timber flooring all to well!!!
You, conversely clearly and concisely assessed our needs and lifestyle prior to making a recommendation on the Readyflor Uniclic product. On that note thanks for taking the time to understand our needs and them explaining the benefits in a palatable, simple way!!! While you were a little dearer than other quotes, we just felt more comfortable with your company and accepted your quotation.

Before and After of our amazing new floors. The videos were very informative and made it very easy to lay the floor ourselves, even the stairs. And way quicker and cheaper than tiling. The Quick Step boards have been fantastic so easy to keep clean, no problems with dropping water on them or having pets in the house.

We were grateful for Josh’s advice to use 6mm Acousta cork underlay, to comply with our Body Corporate’s strict sound proofing by-laws. Our floor passed its sound test with flying colours! As part of a complete renovation of my apartment last year, I contacted Marques Flooring after a recommendation from a friend. From my first meeting with the sales staff, I was made to feel welcome.
The showroom is exceptional and whilst it is always so difficult to make a final choice, my questions and “viewings” were professionally and capably dealt with. My final choice was the French Oak Prestige Grade Tongue and Groove Flooring.
