Single blocks are manufactured so they can be installed into endless geometrical parquetry patterns, popular patterns suggested Herringbone, Brick and Square on Square. You can choose from a selection of Australian native solid timbers to stain and coat after installation to your desired finish.
Forest Reds is Boral's mix of red coloured Australian Hardwoods. The timber is a mix of mainly Eucalyptus trees from Australia's east coast. Timber is a variety of red colours from soft, light pinks to deep rich burgundy some bronze tones could be present.
Tasmanian Oak is a common timber, mixed from three Eucalypts with very similar timber. Harvested from the tallest hardwood species in the world, the timber is exceptionally straight grained. Colour is light, neutral cream without much variation, it stains very well and can be polished to an impressive finish.
Spotted Gum is very unique and probably the second most popular Australian timber. There is not another timber in the world like Spotted Gum. The colour varies widely between pale straw to chocolate brown, sometimes having an olive green or red tinge.
Stringybark is a mix of light timber from the Stringybark group of Eucalyptus trees. Timber is generally straight grained and blonde coloured, visually similar to Blackbutt with a slightly larger variety of blonde/brown colours and a more common pinkish tinge.
